About Hindi Boliye! (Melbourne Hindi Language)
The Melbourne Hindi language group is for Indians or non-Indians who speak Hindi or are learning the language and want to practice. Even if you are a beginner, come along and you're sure to pick up some basics.
Our monthly Meetups are ideally an immersion in the Hindi language, so the idea is that we chat in Hindi. Even if you are an absolute beginner, we can certainly help you with some basics. We'd ask that you bring along writing materials so that you can capture words and phrases to build your Hindi ability and vocabulary.
We usually meetup on the fourth Tuesday of the month, over a meal at a fairly cheap and cheery Indian restaurant in the Melbourne CBD followed by the latest Hindi movie at the cinema.
The members of the group come from all walks of life and have a range of abilities in the language. All we have in common is a love of Indian culture or the beautiful language of Hindi!
