Introduction
Namaste! I decided to start this group after recently moving back to MD. I lived in Manhattan for the past 4 years and while I was there started the NYC Hindi Meetup which was a lot of fun. I'm still working on my Hindi (grammar is bit messy still)
What is your mother tongue?
English (grew up in a Punjabi-speaking family)
What do you hope to gain out of being a member of this group?
Practice speaking Hindi and corrrect my grammar by learning from others. I'd also like to meet other people in the area who have similar interests.
What level is your Hindi? (Fluent, proficient, understand but can't speak, beginner)
Proficient - I can get by in conversation but grammar is definitely an issue!
